LZA was founded in Shanghai in 2017, dedicated to continuous practice and innovation in multiple fields including architecture, interior design, product development, and art curation. The team members have diverse cultural backgrounds from different countries, providing clients with unique creativity and foresight.

 

Founder Zhang Ye, artist and architect, holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Westminster, London. She has led the architectural and interior design of numerous commercial, office, and residential projects. Her works have won the 16th Golden Bund Residential Gold Award, two AD100 YOUNG awards, three JinTeng Awards Annual Grand Prize, nominated for the Archdaily Building of the Year Award 2024, shortlisted for the FRAME AWARDS Emerging Designer of the Year 2023, participated as a designer in the Paris WDCC overseas exhibition, been the Designers of the year, and served as a juror for the FRAME AWARDS 2024. Her works have been featured multiple times by media outlets such as Archdaily, Dezeen, Frame, AD, Elle Deco, Ideat, Yitiao, Gooood, and Cai Lian Society.
